Not sure what to say?

Barb and I lost touch after we no longer worked together in the mid 1990's. I think of her often. I kept a candy tin she had given me right before our work association ended. It has been on every work desk I have used since then. I smile when I see it- it reminds me of her. I have tried to find Barb a few times over the years to get in contact, but had no luck until today. Such sad news. I remember Barb fondly.

also a colleague of barb's, i enjoyed her sense of humor and our phone conversations about "stuff". i was able to meet barb personally at a work event but we never were able to get that social date scheduled. i encouraged her to retire, know why she did not chose it and wish i had given her more reasons to do so. God bless you barb and the special footprint you have left your friends.

I also was a colleague of Barbara's: a very unique and special lady, with a slightly left of center, delightfully humorous yet candid approach to both her work and to life. Barb never failed to catch me off guard with her spot-on comments..(the Oracle of Delphi..) Although we never had the chance to meet in person, we had a deep and personal respect for one another which I will never forget.

Barbara was not only a beautiful colleague, but became a friend over the years. Her empathy, intuition and wittiness will be missed, but never forgotten. My fondest memories are the days that she would call me or send me an instant message to let me know when the space shuttle was preparing for launch or had either just taken off. She enjoyed the shuttle launches and knew that I could view them from my family room window. I will cherish the memories of the oh so lovely Barb.

I worked with Barbara for several years. She had a great sense of humor. She also had an ability to look at problems and provide a fresh perspective. Her approach to her work was down to earth. Barbara was a very caring and compassionate person who took great care in her work. I will miss her quips and her wonderful insight into many issues both work related and personal.
