Barb, Peggy Lou, Cyndi Thanksgiving 2005

Barb was a beloved part of our family. I am thankful for years of good times and deep friendship with her. Barb, you added so much to our family - you were a light in our lives. I will love you always. ---- "Cyndi" Cynthia Gair (California), daughter of Barb's dear friend Peggy Lou (Davis) Gair

I remember Barbara from when my Dad was at the Friendly Home a couple years ago. It was fun to watch her during music therapy and games. She was so cheerful, sweet, and vibrant. A beautiful lady, fun to be around.

Barbara was an inspiration and a joy to be with. She was there for me at the very beginning of my pastoral life. She was a loving supporter of my ministry whom I truly appreciated and loved in return. I am grateful that God had her life touch mine. Please know that all who knew her and loved her will be in my thoughts and prayers. I join many, many people who will miss her.

Tom invited me to be the associate Pastor at Corning First in 1974, his 14 th year as Senior Pastor prior to retiring. He and Barb were such a joy to know. They were loved and deeply appreciated by the congregation at First Church. Barb's bubbly personality and exhuberance for life inspired many. We are grateful that her Asbury family has been such a vital part of her life and send our best to her family and friends.

What a wonderful Christian woman. She truly walked the talk! Condolences to the family.

Barb and Tom were among the most respected and loved people we have known. They suffered the unimaginable loss of both of their children but through it all were a witness of love and faith to all of us. We miss Tom still and now cannot imagine the world without Barbara Steen in it. Our deepest sympathies to Barb's dear friends and loved ones.
