Bobbie was such a wonderful person. Years ago, after I was in a serious auto accident, Bobbie heard about it at our church and came to visit me many times in the months I was laid up. We didn't know one another, but she was there to talk to me, bring me crossword puzzles and books. Afterwards, she was always kind and thoughtful and active at church in a number of projects with which I was involved. She was a very special woman and will be greatly missed.

When I consider an obituary I often think it's an opportunity, a real exclamation point on a life, but rarely does it even begin to capture all that is a human being. This woman was special to me beyond measure. I will miss her laughter (that kind of laugh that rises higher than everyone else's in the group and makes you laugh even harder...the laugh that makes YOU laugh ;)) I will miss her stories shared in Feet to the Fire Writers' Workshops and her hugs...her impeccable shetland wool...
