Not sure what to say?

Lots of great memories of Barry while growing up in Holland Township and going through high school. Especially loved his sweet Mom and knew their family well. Sincere sympathy to Terry and all the family.

So sad to lose my buddy from grammar school and high school. We were in Alaska until two days ago so had no knowledge of Barry's passing. Please know I am thinking of your family .

Jocelyn, I was saddened to hear of Barry's passing. I care, and I am sorry. You will be in my prayers. Always, Peggy Knight Coleman

How many times thru our grammar & high school years do I remember the morning bus stopping at Barry's home and his enthusiastic climb up thru those bus doors. Then in HS as a fellow teammate and his eager contributions on our winning DVR 1960 team. Thank you Barry for the weaves you've made with my and others tapestry of Life. Your Light continues to shine thru. :)

My deepest condolences. He was a beloved teacher at Dunellen High School. He was kind and caring to everyone. His smile was infectious. May he rest in peace.

I grew up in our neighborhood with Barry. We played on the championship football team together. I remember him as a superb athlete and loyal friend. His easy, handsome smile still makes me smile, but alas I am saddened by his death. I know he was a fine man, a respected educator, and inspirational coach. My sincere and deep sympathies are with his family.
I wish I had saved time to be closer to him the last few years. He was always kind and friendly to me and my younger brother...

I was a First year teacher at Dunellen when Barry was there and he was a free spirit and very kind to me and all there . I'm sorry to here of his passing

Although I never met Mr. Hamlin I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with his son Doug. You would be very proud sir of the man and father you raised. May you rest in peace.

My condolences go out to the entire Hamlin family ! He was my 2 step children's Vice Principal for Pleasant Valley School. He was also family connected to me. Strict but got his point across to many kids. He was fair in giving second chances. Very well admired at the school! I'll miss his hello's and reminiscing. Fly high Barry like always. My love goes out to the family!
