I JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT DR LEWIS PASSED AWAY. HE WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL DOCTOR AND PERSON. HE NEVER BELITTLED OR LECTURED HIS PATIENTS. I FIRST MET HIM AT WEST SUBURBAN HOSPITAL MANY YEARS AGO
AND THEN SAW HIM OUT AT ELMHURST.
I AM SURE HE IS UP IN HEAVEN NOW

Barry was not only a great doctor but he was a great guy too. I was a patient of his for well over 20 years. I always enjoyed our conversations about music, guitars and life in general. He was very wise and humorous plus he took good care of me and my family. I've missed our conversations since he retired and regret that we didn't get that opportunity to make some musical noise together.
