Not sure what to say?

Basil you were an amazing cousin, although we haven't been close in the last few years due to circumstances that were out of my control,I was living in different parts of the country since 1984 I remember your mothers sister Edith Farmer whom i loved dearly and of course your mother Nora who made the best sausage and gravy.I had been planning to visit you since your sister Peggy and i had renewed our aquintance and were facebook friends.I do remember the domino games that you and my daddy...

Get in here....come on Mr. Gentry to me ,neighbor and friend of Robins recalling the driving lesson in the ol 3 on the column shift truck. "Hey" and "his chair" and a Dad you wanted to look in the eyes, sweet, sweet eyes

My Condolences and Sympathy to the Gentry Family for the lost of your love one. Its hard when we lose someone as special as a dad. The Lord has chosen another angel, but the memories you and he shared will last forever. Praying for you Dr. Gentry....,
Cynthia(CT)

One of the most loveably wise human beings whose heart ❤ was clothed with integrity. I loved Dad Basil.

He was and always will be my Hero. I have loved this man ever since I was barely walking. He would hold me on his knee and make me laugh. I am 79 now and love him right down to the ground. I already miss you Uncle Basil and will till the day I catch up with you and Daddy in Heaven. Give Grandma a hug for me. I know Daddy was at the gate waiting for you. Love

Dear Gentry Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.
Mary Penson, Grandma and Grandma Great

Basil was one of the finest men to ever walk the planet. My family has been fortunate in being close friends with him, Lou and the children all our lives. The privilege to know and love him was ours. His memory will not disappear.

He was the best uncle ever and best friend to my parents. He will be so missed.
