Not sure what to say?

No body really dies when he lives in the heart of our dear ones.
Rest in peace uncle Bob.
Giovanni Casanova and relatives from Italy

It's hard to come to the realization that "uncle Bob" is no more.
For me, my brother Fabio and our families, he was a great legacy, and the last surviving member of our grand parents Vincenzo and Adele Casanova's family. Immigrants, pioneers and miners in this new world, from Italy at the turn of 1900 (exactly one century ago).Uncle Bob was two years old and our mother Elena Casanova was five, when they luckily or by destiny, survived the "Swine" or "Spanish"...

Bob started cutting my hair 66 years ago when I was 12 years old. I was happy to share his entire years as a barber with him. No nicer man ever was.
God Bless Bob and his Family...

He was my Uncle Bob. I remember him as a kind and gentle man. I was blessed. My prayers are with him. He is now together with my Aunt Cel. Joe Sankey

Enjoy eternal life Bob. Your pain is over. Rest in peace.

Not only was Bob my longtime barber, he was also my friend. He was a fine gentleman who was beyond reproach in all matters of honesty, integrity, and morality. We had many interesting conversations in his barbershop, including fascinating stories about his youth. I will miss his gentle touch, his gentle voice, and his gentle manners. His death is a great loss to me. He was a part of my life. I fear that I will not see his likes again.

Farewell to a Downtown icon and a Barber's Barber. In the late 60's I brought my paper route earnings in to the shop for a flattop with a modest tip. I couldn't resist getting spruced up by a guy named Bob Casanova.

He cut my hair years ago. I remember a happy, friendly man who in this day & age is hard to find. God be with you Bob, you were a great guy!
