Pastor Holmes lived his life in such a way that he was not only a Pastor but was a Role Model. I had the pleasure of growing up in New Friendship Baptist church and living next door to the Holmes’ family. Therefore, I not only learned Biblical principles taught in church, but I saw them being demonstrated in the gentle, loving and Godly lifestyle led by Pastor Holmes. What more can I say about such an awesome man of God. I've never seen Rev. Holmes angry or not smiling. I will never forget all the many rides he would give Melissa and I to school and from any school activities. He was such a great saint! What you saw at church is what he was at home and anywhere else. A TRUE MAN OF GOD! Time for the next generation to take it up a notch. Praying for you all Holmes family! Love ya!
