I always enjoyed spending time with Bennie. LD, Bennie and myself went to McCall's BBQ Buffet in Greenville many times. Sometimes we would ride thru Tarboro and visit relatives. One time Bennie and I went to Chicago to pick up office machines and when we were headed home we couldn't cross the Bay Bridge Tunnel due to high wins so we had to get a hotel. We both just laughed and enjoyed the extra visit. I will definitely miss the "Cuz".

We would all sit around the table as our parents drank coffee as Uncle Bennie entertained us. He had a great sense of humor and he would keep us all laughing for hours. He was also a very generous man. He gave our family a place to stay two times as we were looking for another home. When he said, make yourself at...
