Benton E. Whitwell , age 59 of Westpoint, TN passed away July 14, 2023 at home after a sudden illness. He was a native of Maury County,TN, a retired electrician, and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Memorial Service will be held at Oak Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Jonathan Price will be officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Oak Hill Baptist Church.

He was loved by all of his Shack Family.

I hated hearing this when my cousin told me yesterday. My heart goes out to his family especially Rachel who I know he loved dearly. Benton was one of a kind. There's nothing but good things I can say about him. I can't even tell you the stories associated with him that to this day all I can say is that Benton was a someone that always brought color into this world. I will never forget all the fun I had associated with Benton and I am sure right now Heaven is waiting on what he will say next...
