The entire Kathman Family were all very special. I remember going to get my shoes repaired starting in the 60's. Buck and all who worked there would always greet you with a smile and all the people at the shop took pride in their "craft". There are no more craftsmen like the Kathman's. The Queen City lost a jewel in its crown the day the Kathman's c;losed their store.

Uncle Buck was one of a kind. Soft, full of Peace, Love and a unique Understanding. Always genuine in his ways. I learned a lot from this man(mostly proper Grammar). Forever the coolest cat in the Park. I will always remember him fondly. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
