Not sure what to say?

Bernie Lindgren has been a special friend in the musical community. We have been in many endeavors (choral)together. May you be comforted by good memories. Carol White

Barb, I know how much the loss can hurt. You will be in my thought and prayer in the weeks to come. Take some time for yourself and just breathe.

Barb,I'm so sorry for your loss. God's richest blessings to you and your family as you walk through this time. I wish I had met him...

I skated with Bernie for many years. He was a thoughtful and gracious dance partner, and the conversation was always interesting. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

I will miss Bernie's talent, intellect and kindness. Most of all I will miss skating the Dutch Waltz with him. He is sadly missed.

I have such fond memories of playing Schubert's "Shepherd on the Rock" with Bernie, seeing him at SPCO concerts, and of course, checking in almost every weekday at Parade Ice Garden. How wonderful it was to share so many parts of my daily life--skating, music, teaching at the university--with this warm and generous friend.

My deepest sympathy to Bernie's family. I met Bernie only five years ago when ice dancing but I grew to admire him greatly. He was brilliant, and every conversation with him was fascinating. The rink will seem colder without him.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was one of the few "Renaissance Men" that I have ever met in my life. Bernie was so gifted academically, musically, athletically and socially. He had a playful sense of humor and always had a humorous comment to say when I told him that the figure skaters were messing up the ice for us hockey players. He was so kind to bring me his famous peanut brittle and I regretted not being able to attend one of this musical gatherings. I am so glad he was...

Bernie and I worked together with Thursday Musical. He was a smart, kind man and I will miss him.
