Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to have heard about this. I have many great memories of babysitting both Matt and Bernie. Hugs to all of the family.

Dear Carla, Bernie, and Mattie,
I'm so sorry. I hope you can find some comfort in your wonderful memories of little Bern or "Cubby" as you so fondly called him. Remembering him is will do that everyday. But missing him is a heartache that will never go away. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Shannon

I, like many others, will never really know in this lifetime why this happened but I know for certain this lifetime doesn't offer a sliver of the contentment you are consumed with now. We will never forget you, Bernie...

26th fire academy. I never forget!

I just found out! I miss you, and will always remember you. Until we meet again, prays to your family

Carla and Matt, although there is much sorrow and pain in your hearts right now, know that God has a time and place for all things and loved ones. As long as we still remember Bernie will never completely be gone. Love you both.

Terry Stewart and Brian Smith

My heart breaks for my Cuzie Carla, Matt, big Bern, his grandmother and all his cousins, aunts, uncles friends and of course his love Wendy and her girls.
You left a huge hole in many of our hearts and we will always miss you so much. You were so kind, non judgmental and always the first to offer to lend a hand,,just like your mom. You and Matt were a huge part df my girls lives and they loved you so much.
Every night I say a prayer for all of us who miss you as I know you would...

love this pic of you and bodey

we miss you and love you bernie...
