Not sure what to say?

Janie, I regret I saw this just today after the fact. I am not a regular FB reader any longer after closing my showroom. What a remarkable man, you must have wonderful memories with a father such at he was. I regret I was not able to attend but please accept my condolences on your loss. I know it must have left an enormous void in your large family.
May you feel the presence and comfort of our Lord during your loss. Denise and Gary Friermood

Thoughts and prayers are with you, Janie, and all your family.

To Jane and all the family, I send my sincere sympathy on the death of your dad. I remember him well from growing up at Tab, always with a smile on his face. You all are in my prayers at this time. Laura Deck Cunningham

My condolences to his family. As a salesman traveling around Indy I used to stop by his garage whenever I saw the doors open. I always enjoyed his stories, his energy and sense of humor. A very nice man who I believe never met a stranger.

We lived next door to the Mays on 34th street when we were growing up. What a wonderful family! They were my first babysitting job and I was only 11 yrs. old. I remember how talented Bernie was in everything he attempted. He would go to the Indiana State Fair and come back with lots of stuffed animals and toys. I think they told him not to come back anymore. My Mary Ellen and the children find grace and peace knowing Bernie is with the Lord.

We lived next door to the Mays when we were growing up on 34th street. What a wonderful family. The kids were my first babysitting family and I was only 11 at the time! I remember how gifted Bernie was at the Indiana State Fair- He used to win lots of stuffed animals and prizes. I think they told him not to come back anymore!. May God grant Mary Ellen and the children grace and peace knowing he is with the Lord.

Mr. May use to make all of my Birthday Cards, such a wonderful man and you're correct never meet a stranger! My prayers are with the family.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Bernie a few decades ago. Referred to me by a fellow player, I visited his shop, looking for a new driver. After chatting at some length, he asked what I hoped to accomplish with a new driver. I explained that I'd been fighting a fade (okay, a slice) and his response was, "I can fix your slice in 10 minutes. If I do, will you buy the club?" Of course, I said, "Yes!" A quick trip to the driving range and, true to his word, a minor swing tweak made all...
