Not sure what to say?

A precious soul. Always upbeat and friendly. I will miss hearing your voice my friend

Such a good guy. It was always fun working with Bernie back when radio and TV were together on Boush Street. And what a voice! May Bernie rest in peace.

Probably the funniest person on Bousch Street when I worked at the station. R.I.P., my brother.

A voice like no other. Timeless, old school broadcast announcer who never went out of style. Great teammate, always with a supportive word. May his memory be a blessing.

I consider Bernie the best person I worked with in my 38 year television career. He a consummate professional plus a kind soul. I learned a lot about audio, but more importantly how to work well with others. He will be missed.

What a treasure it was to work with Bernie, back in the 80s. He was very very kind to me and I am ever grateful.

My sincerest condolences and prayers on the loss of your dear uncle. May he Rest in Eternal Peace and may God bless your family.

Bernie had a distinct voice that you could immediately recognize. A real pro, smooth delivery. If you grew up in Tidewater, you surely heard that clear voice. He was always friendly and treated everyone with kindness. Rest in peace.

I grew up listening to Bernie´s voice and when I got my first job at WTKR he was so kind to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the 6 years we worked together. A true professional and a wonderful human being.
