Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man and teacher. He touched so many lives over the years, giving his students a joy of learning. He truly cared about everyone who entered his classroom, putting up with our shenanigans while at the same time making sure we buckled down and got our work done. He made a huge, positive impact on me and many others as we prepared for college and considered our future careers. I will always think of him fondly when I remember my time at PVHS. My thoughts and prayers are with...

Mr. Murphy was a wonderful chemistry teacher, and I continue to apply the foundations he taught me in my job everyday. He was such a kind and caring person and will be greatly missed. I send my deepest condolences to his family.

Bert taught Azeem more than he needed to know about DDT. He inspired many of us to enjoy chemistry and was the gateway to a greater understanding of the world around us. Avogadro would be proud. Thanks Mr. Murphy

What a fun teacher. We were saddened to hear about this loss. Our thoughts are with his family. We will never forget his super special Mole Day celebration!

Mr. Murphy was one of my favorite teachers, and Bert and Patty were such a beautiful couple. Grace & peace to the Murphy family.

Bert was a very fine gentleman and teacher. I always admired him and he was always kind to me. He has a great family and was a great husband and father. My prayers continue for him and his family. Bert will be always remember in my prayers. He joins the Saints in Heaven I pray. Amen.
