Dear Irene,
I often thought of your mom long after she moved to be with you and Fred. Some of my happiest childhood memories are of you and your parents, and I always felt so welcome in your home. I was very sad to see that she had passed away, and I wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Life was good on Parsonage St. back in the day, and your mom was one of the ladies that made it so.

any mom who would eat chocolate mashed potatoes without being critical, is an amazing mom. Irene I remember her opening her home to a bunch of girl scouts, I was one, so we could earn our sewing badge. I still have that badge, she did most of the work, but I never forgot that. I still live here in town and whenever I pass your house on Parsonage, I think good thoughts. God bless you and your husband. Your mom was special to so many of us..

Dear Irene & Fred,
I was so shocked & saddened to see this obituary today...You know that your Mom was like a 2nd mother to me. I am so sorry that I have been so bad at staying in touch. Please know that all my thoughts & love are with you. I have a picture somewhere of your mother, laughing & striking a pose like a dance step, with one hand in the air & other to her side & that is how I remember her. I know wonderful memories & your care of your mother will bring you peace. Please let...

So sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a special lady that would always listen, and if asked would give the BEST advice. She will be missed!

Aloha Fred and Irene,
Our deepest sympathies and condolences to you for the loss of Bessie. May God bless you and comfort you in this time of bereavement. Our prayers are with you.

Aloha O'e,
Larry and Juliet and children, Canaan, Jacob, Keian and Kathleen.

I will always remember visiting her home and playing under the big tree. Love to you and your family. Jane Harrison

Irene and Fred: We are so thankful that we were able to meet Bessie. We will always have wonderful memories of the trips and dinners we shared over the years with all of you. She was a very special lady and will be missed by many. She was so proud of you and her "favorite" son-in-law.
Love you guys. Bill and Char
