I had no idea! Praying for my sweet Averyt Family. Growing up in the Dawson youth group we had MANY Moms and Dads, Bette was one of them. I think she would approve of Psalm Chapter 116 (NIV). Think of her when you read verse 15 !

I remember clearly the first day I met The beautiful soul alive and on fire with passion for her family of Christ, of biology, and of friends crossing generational, cultural, educational, economic lines. To be known by Bette, was to be loved unconditionally by her unless you wronged anyone she loved.

I am so sorry for your loss.. I loved Aunt Bette so much and will miss her lovely notes on Facebook to me I will always treasure my time I spent with her when I was growing up . Take comfort in knowing she is now in the arms of the Lord and is at peace.. RIP Aunt Bette.
