Not sure what to say?

Betty was a bonus to Ron and I that came with our friendship with the Guffin Family. Her later years paralleled those of my own mother while she lived with us. I always enjoyed being with Betty. Beautiful smile, sunny outlook and so very precious to her family. Jesus was waiting for her that evening when she went to bed. It doesn't get much better than that. Resting in the arms of Jesus!

While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words fail to capture the joy of our heavenly Father returning your dear one. Our condolences.

I was blessed with the most wonderful mother anyone could ever hope to have. She was loving, generous and enjoyed being with her family more than any gift.
She taught me how to sew at 12 years old and I learned how to use patterns, change them up and make special creations of my own. Through the years we continued with quilting classes and projects.
We traveled together to many destinations but her favorite was New England enjoying the fall colors through Maine, New Hampshire and...

Betty was such a sweet lady.
I always enjoyed our meetings regarding taxes and getting updated on her travels.

She gave me a special cross from one of her trips that I love.

She always talked about her family and how much she loved them.

Prayers to the family.

May the family be comforted by Jesus' promise of seeing your dear loved one again. John 6:40.

Always Love You, Betty

I met Betty in 2000 when I came back to Texas for a reunion. My school buddy Frank Minard arranged for us to stay at Betty's house in Clear Lake, I got there first, and from the moment Betty opened the door to me, we just talked and became lifelong friends. I went to Williamsburg, VA in 2001 and met her, Beryl, and Frank. We had a wonderful time, lunch on Duke of Gloucester Street, tour of Jamestown. I gave Betty a colonial candle set as a Thank You. When I moved to New Braunfels, TX I...

Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving god promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. (Isaiah 40:29, 41:10, 13)
