Betty Hearn Broyles, 90 of Princeton passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Princeton. Betty was born March 29, 1931 in Princeton, WV she was the daughter of the late Harvey C. and Lillie Hale Hearn. Betty was a lifelong resident of Princeton and a charter member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church. Betty was a graduate of Princeton High School and West Virginia Business College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, H.C. Hearn, Jr., and Randolph Hearn; two sisters, Emma Hearn, and Dorothy Cundiff; and daughters-in-law, Sherri Broyles, and Donna Broyles. Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, James Eugene Broyles of Princeton; two sons, Curtis Broyles and wife Lori of Louisville, KY and Patrick Broyles and wife Veronica of Princeton. Grandchildren Whitney Taylor, Caitlin Kinney and husband Sean of Louisville, KY, Emily Lloyd and husband Jon of Roanoke, VA, Alex Broyles of Princeton, Cassie Simpkins and husband Aaron of Bluewell, and Bonnie Broyles of Princeton; three great grandchildren, Liam, Zoey, and Wylon; and one sister, June Fletcher of Bluffton, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM, Friday, December 3, 2021 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Dan Thyng and Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Jimmie Jones Scholarship Fund, C/O Johnston Chapel Baptist Church, 984 Halls Ridge Rd., Princeton, WV 24739.
