Not sure what to say?

It was with great sadness that we came across this obituary last night. Mrs. Davis was a kind and gentle person who will be sorely missed. We had the pleasure of befriending the Davis family while we lived in Germany and have kept in touch over the years. We feared that something might be wrong when we didn't receive our annual card from Betty this December. All of our best to Willie and family during this difficult time.

They say blood is thicker than water; could be. Let me tell you I saw Mrs. Davis, only occasionally, however, during those brief moments of simply saying Hi! How are you, I always felt sincerity from her greetings. There were often times when I called her Mom, we always hugged. She is like my actual Mom. I speak of her in the present; for she will forever be an 'Angel' in my memory as she was in the flesh. Look within your hearts, as l will mine, She's there!

Sister Betty was always very friendly every time I saw her at church and with a very lovely smile. She will be dearly missed but I know she'll be even more friendlier in Heaven with the other lovely angels. Special prayers and love to her family and friends. God bless.

The Haycox family was shocked and saddened at the passing of Betty Davis. She has been a caring friend and neighbor for many years. We will miss her. Our love and prayers to her family during this difficult time.

Ed and I are very saddened. Betty was a very dear close friend that we loved and respected very much. We will miss her smile and welcome to us whenever we were in Sacramento. We pray God's Grace and Mercy on the family as they go through this very difficult time. May God Bless and keep you individually and collectively. We love you;
