We both send our love and prayers to all of you at this time. Betty has always been a vivacious lady knowing her Savior through the joys and sorrows in her life. Her reunion with her family now must be of total peace and happiness. We can look forward to seeing her and all of our good friends from the U-Hills ward again. While living these past 10 years in Denver Colorado (I now live in American Fork Utah), my son Matthew (Down Syndrome, who would clean snow for Betty) would meet each week at Betty's home with Elderly sisters in the University Hills Ward or who had previously been in the ward, for Family Home Afternoon. We called it Family Home Afternoon because no one could go out in the evenings so we met in the early afternoon. I will cherish our Family Home Afternoon time ... also Betty and I before and...

We knew Betty as a member of the congregation of the University Hills Ward in Denver for a number of years. She was dearly loved by all. We remember her bearing a deep testimony of the gospel and being personally touched by her words.

I met Betty when I first joined the church. I will always remember her broad smile and cheerful attitude. Always a good person to be around. Even in her last few times to attend church in her wheelchair, that enchanting happy attitude, permeated her aura. Even if you weren't in the best mood, when you saw Betty, the rest of your day was a happy one. She will be sorely missed, but Heavenly Father must have needed some special soul to cheer up some incoming new souls. Hope to emulate your life...
