Betty Jean Oswald was the Cleveland Elementary School Teacher in 1974's to 1975's. I had never have her as my teacher, but with other teachers such as Mrs. Roddy, Mrs. Meling, Mr. Delp and other teachers that worked with Ms. Oswald... that was how I knew her. She was like Cleveland Elementary School "Family" in Deaf Community. We miss you!

Wonderful memories of Betty when we worked together as speech therapists a "few" years ago. Condolences to her family.

My son had Betty as a teacher at Cleveland School in Stockton. She always challenged the students to do their best. Kristopher has graduated from Cal State East Bay and hopes to obtain a teaching credential and an MA. I sent her Christmas cards every year to update her on several of the other kids in the class. Rest In Peace knowing you did an outstanding job.

She was our teacher at Cleveland Elementary in Stockton back in early 1980's. One of our best teacher, pushed us to next level. Thank you, Ms. Oswald.

Betty was a wonderful friend to my mother (and to our family) for many decades. Super dedicated teacher, tremendous influence on many children in Stockton.

My first speech therapist and the one who I credit the most for teaching a deaf kid like me how to speak well. Thank you for everything, Miss Oswald! Rest in peace!
