Bill Tom Austin, age 67, of Story, died Saturday, May 9, 2009.

He was born on February 11, 1942 at Aly, the son of Charles Austin and Voyza Smith Austin Wallace. On April 6, 1969, he was married to Carolyn Nix.

He was a retired logger and dozer service operator and member of the Union Hill Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed stock car racing.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Austin of Story; five children, Debbie Fleming of Benton, Steve Shepard of Benton, Belinda Talley of Story, Shelia Smith of Story and Charles Austin of Little Rock; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob Austin of Story; one sister, Maxine Standerfer of Story; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2009 in the Union Hill Pentecostal Church with Bro. Danny Tillery and Bro. Dillard Spears officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

Interment will be in the Aly Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
