One of my fondest memories of Bill was at the Austin reunion several years ago, playing his harmonica.....and I loved listening to him talk about the Austin family.....my prayers and thought are with Bill's family...God Bless....

Dear Joyce,
I am a cousin to Bill. His father and my mother (Marguerite or "Deet" Pruitt) were brother and sister. We all lived in Abilene at one time. I was quite a bit younger than Bill. But I just wanted to offer my respects to you and family for your loss. My mother died last month. She was the last of the "12 children" born to Mamaw & Papaw Austin.
Sincerely,
Sharon

Uncle Bill, Your heart was as warm as the sun. I will always remember you. Give mamaw and papaw a hug and kiss. All my love to Joyce and family....

Bill, I learned from you as my older cousin - a lot of great memories. God bless you in eternal peace.

Bill,
You're such a great guy and I'm going to miss you. You were a man of wit and wisdom.

A beautiful soul. Gonna miss you, Bill. I'm a better person for having known you. Rest in peace.
