Billie Mae Wilson, 90, of Arlington, TX, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Arlington, TX.  Billie was born November 26, 1928 in Denton, Texas to Forest Melvin and Leona (Pair) Strickland.  Billie married R. W. “Pud” Wilson on February 28, 1969 in Aubrey, TX.  Prior to retirement, Billie was employed at Victor Equipment Company in Denton, TX. 


Billie is survived by her sons, Bruce and wife, Judy Popko of Arlington, TX, John Paul Wilson of Sherman, TX; daughters, Myrna Engle of Lewisville, TX, June Barbee and husband, Marion of Highland Village, TX, and Scarlett Smith of Calera, OK; and a host of grand and great-grandchildren;


Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Pud; parents, Forest and Leona; daughter, Wilda Parkhill; son-in-laws, Bob Engle and Don Parkhill; brothers, Charles and Hubert Strickland.


Visitation will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Faith Assembly Church in Aubrey, TX with a funeral service beginning at 3:00PM officiated by Pastor Clarence Dalrymple. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Aubrey, TX.  Pallbearers are Derrick Parkhill, Jeff Engle, Glenn Engle, Kevin Barbee, Buddy Barbee and Kyle Farrington.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wilson Cemetery Association at P O Box 243, Aubrey, TX 76227.  Online condolences may be shared at www.slaymemorialfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman and I always enjoyed visiting with her. She was very proud of her family.
