On August 24, 2016, Billy found love in the eyes of Barbara McClain and the two were united in Holy Matrimony. This union created a larger circle of love. Billy was a warm and compassionate man and some called him the “BB King” of barbeque but whatever you called him it was always in thought of a good and kind person.
Nothing is ever lost, nothing ever dies. Not even life which gives up his form to resume another. No good action, no good deeds, no good example ever dies it lives on and in the people who loved and knew Billy.
Billy leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Barbara McClain Johnson; three children, Billy Jr., Tashee, Talandar; one adopted child, Marry Commons; five step children; three grandchildren Javion, Zaria and Ishayah; 12 siblings ‘Bernice Grey, Katie Staten (Herbert), Ophelia Hicks (Charles), Herbert Johnson (Mary), Lillian Carr, Bernie Johnson Jr. (Rose), Ola McGrew, Gracie Johnson, Jimmy Johnson (Wyvette), Ceola Johnson; and a host of countless nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers and friends.
