JACK OWENS 

Billy Jack Owens age 78 died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the 903 COLLEGE STREET CHAPEL of Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home with Tracy Jones officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Wednesday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  

Mr. Owens was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1942 in Fayette, AL to the late Thurmond and Myrtle Hataway Owens.  He was of the protestant faith and a retired security officer.   

Survivors include: Wife, Glenda Perrigin Owens, Columbus, MS;  sisters, Kitty Honeycutt and Linda Bowen; and brother, Bobby Jackson  

Serving as Pallbearers will be: James Perrigin, Mike Castro, Bobby Jackson, Buddy Perrigin, Sam Honeycutt, and Tim Garton.
