In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Marcia,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mother. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Dear Family,
Pat,
We were so sorry when we heard of Birdie’s passing. I am so glad that we where able to spend some time with her the day Rev. Martin passed in December 2004. We had a wonderful visit with her although it was under undesirable circumstance. On that day, we felt the bond of family and friendship. However, I know her heart was broken, and I am sure she is very happy now to be with her very much beloved Alvin and her sisters and the rest of the family. Although you will...

TO MARCIA AND YOUR FAMILY,

YOU ARE REALLY BLESSED TO HAVE HAD YOUR MOTHER AND FAMILY WITH YOU ALL OF THIS TIME. IT IS HARD TO TAKE DEATH BUT GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BEST. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SAD BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER ARE. YOU ARE A VERY CLOSE FAMILY AND I KNOW THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP LOVING EACH OTHER AND CARING FOR EACH OTHER BECAUSE THAT IS HOW YOU WERE RAISED. MAY GOD KEEP YOU STRENGTH AND BLESS YOU.
