Not sure what to say?

May the God of comfort bring the family peace in their time of grief.

Sorry for the misspelling of your name, Yvonne. You might remember that we shared that name, for me as my middle name, but somehow I thought that you might have spelled yours differently. Love you. Love our name. Carroll Yvonne Dafoe Berntson

Ken (Berntson) and I (Carroll) intended to be at Blair's memorial today, but were held back by stormy weather conditions. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Evonne and her children and to Dawn and her family.

Blair was such a beautiful man and his love and peacefulness radiated to all around him. When he joined up with Evonne, who possessed similar attributes, a wonderful marriage was made.

My deepest condolences to the family. It's very hard to lose a love one, however may God give you peace, hope and comfort during this most difficult time. Romans 15:13

I hired Blair in 1977 to work with challenging junior high students at Agassiz Junior High School, Fargo, ND. He had a way of connecting with students that made them feel safe, cared about and loved. While he looked like Grizzle Adams, I think that helped him be accepted by the kids. I hated to see Blair leave as he headed to Soldatna, Alaska for another adventure, but I knew that where ever he went he would make a difference.
To his family I offer my thoughts and prayers to them and for...

So sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Blair. We grew up together and went to the same schools. He was always a kind and soft spoken gentleman. He inspired many students and his memories will live on.

I can tell how wonderful Blair must have been by knowing his daughter, Lisa. We reflect the best parts of our parents thanks to the loving way they raised us. Take comfort in your memories as you grieve.

Blair was a wonderful teacher!! Prayers and blessings to all of his family.

Sorry for your loss, Emery families.
