Not sure what to say?

Jeff and Patty, Our son was Justin Straus who attended DA with Blake in the lower school (Justin and Jake Tillman were best buds). We can empathize with your pain as Justin died in 2008. Please know that we are here for you if it would help to talk with someone who has lost a child. It truly is the worst nightmare and our hearts are heavy knowing that another family is experiencing the very worst pain a parent can know. Heather Lee and Steve Straus - [email protected].

I don't know you or your family but I read Blake's story on a decorating blog of his cousins. What an amazing family. What a beautiful young man. The short legacy that Blake's life with bring to this world is so very powerful. I live in Arkansas and have heard Blake's story. What comfort his written words will give you knowing he is with God. I pray for you and your family. I pray for the 2 young men that where with Blake. God Bless you and hold you tight through your life.

Patty and Jeff, the family and kids were devastated to learn of Blake's passing. Many a tear has been shed by me and the Courtside family. We have all shared memories of our brief time with Blake. We all remember the summer workouts and the discussions on where everyone wanted to go to college and play tennis. Blake declared he was too young to decide but wanted to play at an ACC school when the time came. The bright sun of this summer will be dimmer without him! Our thoughts and prayers...

Patty and Jeff, you are in our thoughts and prayers during your time of loss. We know not what the future holds for any of us but to those who have Jesus as Savior and Lord know who holds the future. Draw upon that faith and allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide you during this difficult time.

Jeff and Patty, thank you for partnering with God to create Blake Hubbard. Thank you too for memorializing Blake's life in such a powerful way, letting others be touched by this event and gaining their soul in our Lord and savior. From a coaches perspective Blake was a "PLAYER", he had that natural gift an athlete has to do things others can't. A "PLAYER" he was, he LOVED to PLAY, he LIVED to PLAY and ultimately he passed from us PLAYING. Most appropriately his memorial service was held in...

Marv, so sad and so sorry to hear about your boy. I can't imagine what your going through but wanted to let you know how much you and Patty are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jeff

I was so sorry to hear of Blake's sudden passing. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts

Dear Jeff and Patty - I was so shocked when Steve called me about your tragic loss. I know your family has been nothing but kind and generous to Steve and Sam and Jenny, always offering a place to stay at your home if they were passing through. Jenny is so saddened by the loss of Blake. You are in our thoughts and prayers. - Anne August
