Beloved Blanche taught me tailoring, (I will forever remember the importance of a hand-picked zipper), and quilting, which became a passion. Elegant and patient, Blanche always knew the answers to far more than our class lessons. She has touched many and her expertise and inspiration will live in our hearts forever.

Blanche and Dalene gave me a quilt when OUR son was born and I cherish it to this day 29 years later. Blanche and my mother had a special relationship because of quilting as well. My condolences to Dalene and the whole family. May the quilt of life she has created live on forever !

So Sorry for your loss. Blanche was my first quilt teacher in the Fall 1979. She was such an inspiration to me and I will always remember her fondly. She was very patient with this "newby" quilter. Because of Blanche, I went on to become an extreme quilter - making 20 or more quilts for charity every year for the past 12 years.
God Bless her and her family.

What a beautiful Legacy she has left to her family. I only met her a few times, but found her to be charming, so elegant and fun to talk to. I know her daughter, Suzanne, and she has many of her Mother's good qualities. I am just amazed also at Blanche's Quilting - didn't know she had traveled all over the world with it. I know she is happy now with her husband. Wanda Wach, Eastvale CA
