Bobbie Joe Smart, 87, of Sapulpa passed from this life on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at home in Sapulpa, OK. He was born on June 1, 1932 in Hot Springs, AR to James and Elizabeth (Harris) Smart. He worked hard all of his life and was an auto mechanic by trade.

Bobbie Joe was a great husband to Shirley (deceased) and father to 7 children who he loved with all of his heart, Rocky A. Smart (Jennie), John T. Smart, Stacey Joe Smart (deceased), Daryl Warner Smart (Marleane), Debbie L. Thompson, Candy Ann Smart (deceased), and Bruce Smart and many grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Kristy Smart and Patsy Smart; and son-in-law, Eddie Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Beams of Light Church, 1831 S Water St, Sapulpa, OK. Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.

We have so many great memories with Bobby Joe, it has been hard for us but we all have our ways to grieve. We know that you are with Shirley and happy. You will be missed. We loved you very much.

You have always been so sweet and very considerate to me and anytime I seen you you always give me the big hug and kiss , you always made me feel special.
