Bonnie Sue Mills, age 52, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.


Bonnie was born on May 15, 1968 in New Castle, IN., to Wanda Baker Buxton and the late Bobby Dean Poynter. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Dingo.


She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Mills of Somerset, KY; her mother, Wanda Baker (and Jack) Buxton of Somerset; two stepsons, Chris (and Christy) Mills of Somerset and Travis (and Amy Caldwell) Mills of Somerset; two brothers, Bobby Poynter of Eubank and Brian Poynter of Eubank; her twin sister, Velinda Hill of Somerset and a sister, Sheila (and Rick) Payne of Somerset.


Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Dean Poynter.


Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5:30pm until 7:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.


Her funeral service will follow on Friday at 7:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hampton officiating.
