Not sure what to say?

I knew Boomer through business. I sold her auto parts. The business relationship meant npthing compared to just knowing her. We would meet for lunch in central square and talk about the world. She was unique and wonserful. I was just thinking of her and decided to google her only to find out thar she passed. Rest in peace. May her memory be a blessing to us all.

There are too many memories here to share just one about Boomer Kennedy. She was a force - funny, witty, bold, a little crazy, a rallying center for lesbians in Boston in the 1980s. She started the Chicago Struts, the women´s softball team sponsored by her auto repair shop. I was the second baseman. We were a terrible team. The slaughter rule ended many a game before seven innings. But we were cool, smart, political and loyal women. And Boomer was our leader. RIP old friend!

Just like your brothers, sisters and parents, you always greeted me with the biggest Kennedy smile, regardless of how many months or years had passed since our last connection. I regret not having spent more time getting to know you and your incredible life experience, but I hope to bring some of your happiness and joy to those around me in the years to come. Rest in Peace Aunt Boomer.

Sweet memories of sisters...(Boomer on left - Mo on right)

I will remember Boomer as a fun and kind aunt. At one of our annual Kennedy family trips to Maine, she taught me to play poker! I was pretty young, but she included me in the adults-only evening card game, which was pretty special, and we actually won a couple hands! Rest in peace Boomer. You will be missed. Love, Heather.

Family parties were always more fun and enjoyable when Aunt Boomer was in town. Your sass, laughter and radiant smile created an atmosphere of joy. I will be forever grateful for the memories I cherish of you, Boomer. May your soul know deep peace and love in eternal life. Love, Mercy

I will always remember how excited I was as a kid to find out that my aunt Boomer had the same birthday as me! You always took time to ask us cousins what we were up to and what our interests were. We will all miss you Boomer and may your soul rest in peace- Love Kolbe

Your physical presence will truly be missed, your spirit will live on with us at the park/garden.

I was so sad to hear of your passing, Aunt Boomer. I wish I could have known you better. The memories I have are all touched by your singular spirit--your ability to talk to your nephews as if we were peers, your quick laugh, and your sharp wit. You are missed by your family and fondly remembered.
