My deep love for American Literature came from 11th grade with Mr. Carroll, and I was later blessed to be his colleague at PHS in the English department. Brian was a gifted lecturer, passionate scholar, and a generous educator who readily shared methods and techniques. His storytelling was second to none and there was nothing like his laugh! My deepest condolences to the family - I am in TN but otherwise would be there to pay my respects to a truly great man.
