Condolences!

I'm speechless... Brian's presence was warm and welcoming. He was a stellar musician with vision. He was a member of a family of artists who've made an indelible mark on the culture of Columbus, Ohio. He was loved and he will always be missed...

Can hardly believe that I'm writing this after being out of the country over the last month. My condolences to the Casey family and all who knew Brian. Our paths crossed infrequently, but a great soul has left the house.

Very sorry to hear the news. I knew Brian from high school and his sincerity and kindness stuck with me. He was incredibly genuine and talented.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I didn't know Brian well but always admired his unique and courageous music. He was always funny and kind whenever we worked together.

We pray for healing and peace for all Brian's family and friends suffering.

The England family

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Casey family during this difficult time.

My condolences go to the Casey family. Brian was a brilliant musician and composer and a wonderful person. His is a bright star in the universe. As he would say, Arpeggiate the Cosmos!
Tim Perdue has started a weblog for friends, family, fellow musicians - anyone & everyone touched by Brian - as a permanent place to remember, share, and celebrate his time with us. The address is:

Even from the distance of hemispheres and, more inexorably, the distance of time, I can still remember what it was like to have someone like Brian as friend during the one year of hight school we had together in Columbus.

Brian, you are missed and I am sadfish.
