Brian was instrumental in achieving needed reforms in the Division of Audits after 1990. Without his efforts, especially in Special Audits and Oil and Gas Royalties, we would never have regained the professional orientation and ethical standards that his ideals represented. He will be remembered and missed at the State Controller.
