Brian performing the "passing of the key" ceremony.
Dear Kim and Joseph and Family,
We are deeply saddened by the news of Brian's passing. We are fortunate to have known him. I can say without pause or hesitation that I'm a better person as a result of my friendship with Brian. My relationship with Brian began quite coincidentally but I could not have chosen a better friend. Its difficult for me to express how important Brian's friendship was to me. His humor and good nature will not be forgotten. I'm still amazed by the twist of fate...

Brian,
Hey there buddy. Everything was beautiful and it was certainly apparent that you touched many lives. I always knew how special you are, and it sure made me feel good to know how many other people did too!! That's what life is all about....being a good person. And Brian, you were/are certainly that!!! PS say hi to my Mom.....give her a big hug and kiss from me. I can see you two up there laughing and cutting it up! love and miss you, rachel x0x0x

Dear Kim and Joseph, I want to express my sincere condolences to you and your family. Brian was an inspiration to me when I was diagosed with cancer last year. Whenever we spoke during our treatments he kept me believing that I could stay strong with the support and prayers from my friends and family. I will miss him dearly and will never forget his spirit. I will always keep him in my heart and remember his words of inspiration.
Love,
Kathy

Brian, I will miss the light that you brought to the world in everything you did. Having lived through our parallel upbringing, as we used to discuss, I feel as if I've lost a part of me. Say hello to Mom and Abuelo. God willing, I'll see you when I get there.
Besos y abrazos..............Esther
