The kids in Rhome, Texas will always remember watching you on channel 39. The old school here saw many reenactments of the matches you had the honor of refereeing on its playground. Von Erich's VS. Freebirds forever...

I was saddened to hear about his passing but Bronko Lubich was more than just a mere longtime wrester; he was the greatest referee in the history of the Sportatorium, North Side Coliseum, and Will Rogers Auditiorium. He will be missed by anyone who every watched Main Event wrestling on Saturday night. I can still hear Bill Mercer announcing his name...great memories of a great man.

Please accept my deepest condolences. We talked about Broncos career and the good life he had wrestling. He will be remembered as a good man. Jim Cotten( formerly with Bill Remley State Farm)

I grew up watching Bronko and then had the pleasure of wrestling at the Sportatorium with him as my ref. But the best part was being able to be his friend away from the sport and to meet his wife and daughters. Although he had been declining in health over the years he always had a smile on his face! May God Bless his family and friends.

Bronko Lubich stood out in the world of wrestling. He was an excellent representative of the sport and I remember seeing him at the Sportatorium in Dallas in the 60's. He added an element of reality to the world of wrestling ! He will be missed by many.
