Ackerman, Bruce W. Age 63, of St. Anthony, on December 13 following a 2 yr battle with cancer. Survived by wife of 34 yrs, Kathleen "Kathi" Kaiser Ackerman; mother, Viola Barg; sister, Susan Riley (Dennis); brother, Steve (Lorie); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, 2 nephews, nieces, 2 great nephews, and many close friends. Bruce was an avid golfer his entire life and member of Midland Hills CC. He was also quite a pool shark and enjoyed the challenge of Texas Hold ‘Em. He was actively involved in the Mpls Jaycees for many years. Special thanks to best friend, Jim Utne for his unselfish and total devotion to Bruce while he was going through his many cancer treatments. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. A Memorial Service will be held for Bruce at 2:30 PM Sun., Dec. 17 with visitation starting 1 1/2 hours prior at: Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel 612-781-6828 2901 Johnson St. N.E.
