Not sure what to say?

We at the VCU School of Education are sorry to learn of Bruce's passing. He received his M.Ed. in Adult Learning here in the 1990's and was well thought of by our faculty, including several lasting connections he made. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

I am so sorry to know that Bruce has passed away..he and my husband, Stanley, were good friends and enjoyed many good times together. My heart goes out to Joan and the family

To the Whole Brenner Family,
So sorry to hear of Bruce's too early death. I remember him when we double dated with my sister Barbara and I went with Terry.about 63 years ago. I remember when I flew from Portsmouth to stay with your family for New Year's. Linda was always a good friend growing up. Please accept my deepest sympathy to the whole Brenner family. Gloria Levine Biberman

Bruce was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming to me at Beth Israel. Always a smile and kind word! My sympathies to his family and friends. He will be missed!

From Jefferson High School, to being each other's customer, Bruce hiring two of my sons, Trey and Neal, to work at Cycle Systems, hauling some of his charity books, and just being around him off and on over the years enriched my life and that of my family. Well done my friend, rest in peace and God Bless You and your family and an America and world that was made better because of you. Linnie Gregory, Fincastle, VA

Maybe it was his curiosity for just about everything, maybe it was his interest in helping everybody or maybe it was just his smile but something tells me we lost a great gentle, friendly and unforgetable one of a kind man.
Joan and family, please accept my sincere condolences.

Gary and I celebrate the well lived life of Bruce Brenner; neighbor, community co patriot and friend. He and Ann Masters were part of the recycling and clean valley movement. Bruce shared his faith through his actions and deeds. He was a Greenway advocate and a daily user. He led change in our community by his positive example.

Gary and I offer love and prayers for Joanie and the family. Betty Norris is somewhere in Roanoke.

Bruce was such a sweetheart. I remember singing with him during the early years of the Chai Lites. He will be missed.

Joan, my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Bruce and you have been so special to me and the Roanoke community. With love and prayers, Glen
