Not sure what to say?

You are in my prayers everyday by name!

Since Bruce's passing, the stories circulating his endeavors from his Princeton rugby cohorts has amplified. Stories not just on the pitch (rugby field) as well as off the pitch. One of my contributing stories to his legend was when after winning the Ivy League Rugby Championship, we were invited to Martinique to play the French All Stars. At the banquet on a French dare, i pounded a hot chili they guaranteed would set me on fire. It did. The next day I was still in such misery my...

I was absolutely shocked to learn of Bruce's passing. I had wanted to reopen some lines of communication (our last email exchange was at least 3 years ago)so I googled to see if he was still at Boston U, and just now (7/11/12) learned of his death. I studied with Bruce during my Master's program more than 30 years ago in Wisconsin. His teaching dedication and skills were absolutely unforgettable. His encouragement was a huge, huge factor in my gaining the modest success that I have enjoyed....

I never had him as a professor but he changed my life forever. I met him and his family on the Cape after graudation when I was their waiter. He talked me into going to his class to and introduced me to Gov. Dukakis. We talked for a couple of hours about law school. Told me about helping one person or helping hundreds. I have now been a public servant for the past 7 years. And it all started because they thought I looked like Adam Sandler. My condolences.

I will never forget my last encounter with Prof. Wallin. I was sitting in his office talking about various political issues as well as seeking career advice. He always mistook me for a Political Science major and for the last time I corrected him. "Why AREN'T you a PoliSci major?" He asked. I didn't have an answer, so I went downstairs, picked up a form and added PoliSci as my double major. It's been a little over a year, and I could not be happier with my decision. Thanks, Wallin,...

I had Professor Wallin for two classes, and both were amazing. He really cared about the students. He would show up for basketball and other games, which is not something teachers usually go to. I just want to send my thoughts and prayers to his family.

I only had Prof. Wallin for one class but it was a class that stuck with me. I wasn't a poli sci major and it was a difficult class for me, but Prof. Wallin had a wonderful way of teaching. He is one of the professors I most remember from NU. He will be missed.

I am saddened to hear about Professor Wallin's passing. I had him as an undergrad at NU and he was easily my favorite professor - extremely knowledgeable and approachable, but most importantly he cared about his craft and it showed. My condolences to the Wallin family - Tom McGlyn, class of 2002.

Prof Wallin was my fav teacher at Northeastern who really cared about his students. We will be missed and remembered dearly. Aina Zaid, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. MPA Class of 2011.
