We had the privilege of getting to know Bryan at various services and functions for the Friends of the 15th Brigade over many years. Bryan's Father fought at Polygon Wood in 1917 during WW1 and we shared a common interest in all things related to Polygon wood as my GGrandfather, a 57th Battalion man, died at Polygon Wood. Bryan would travel to Melbourne for the Polygon Wood service on 26th September and often take an active roll in the service. We had many chats over the years, including both...
