Burt Reynolds (1936 – 2018) was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood during the 1970s and 1980s. The magnetic actor was known for his roles in "The Longest Yard," "Deliverance," and the "Smokey and the Bandit" movies. He was nominated for an Oscar for his supporting role in "Boogie Nights." When you see a person who's life was onscreen, pass away, you realize the fleeting nature of life. It seems to go by in a flash. Ecclesiastes talks about how those alive should reflect on the life of those who pass away, to evaluate where our life is headed. I remember watching him on tv. His talent touched many lives. May his family and loved ones heart heal in the days ahead. Prayer is essential to healing.
