Thank you Barney for being so wonderful to us and being such a loving husband to my Grandma Mary. She loved you dearly, and we do too.

Thank you for allowing me to re-enter Barney's life this past seven years, and becoming Family when he married my mother Mary. You've been wonderful to us, and I send my sincere condolences to you all, as he will be greatly missed. I thank God for letting me experience one more truly gracious person on this Earth.

Uncle Barney was a very special guy he was always there with a warm smile and kind word. And he could whip your butt at cribbage. I know I am going to miss him. I WILL MISS MY BROTHERSO MUCH. WHEN WE LIVED IN A LOG CABIN ON WEST MOUNTAIN DEAN,BARNEY AND I HAD SO MUCH HOME MADE FUN.ONE DAY BARNEY TOOK OFF ON A RUN AS THE 3 OF US WERE PICKING HUCKLEBERRIES. NO QUESTIONS ASKED AS DEAN TOOK OFF SO I KNEW IF MY BIG BROTHERS HAD RUN SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND I SPLIT.WE SHARED ONE HORSE FOR AWHILE TO RIDE TO SCHOOL,THENIT DIED AND BOYS HAYWIRED A BIKE.ROUGH TIMES BUT WE HAD AS I SAID HOMEMADE FUN.BARNEY TAUGHT ME A LOT. I am so very lucky and blessed to have had you for my grandpa, my memories of childhood nobody can ever take away, the big steelhead in the sink after a fishing trip , camping trips, fishing at La Push, trips in the motorhome to Baker, or trips to Idaho. The love you had for each and every one of us grandkids made us all feel like we were the only one. Your love is our legacy and Grandpa you will never be forgotten!

What a nice obit in the Staesman. The Bane family wishes to send their condolances. Joanne and Margaret ar living in Boise and quite well. We lost Edith in the 80'sw. Ruth is in a home for Dementia in Salem, Blanch in assisted living in Bellevue, Wash. Harry is dealing with the assistance of a good friend in Vancouver, Wa. We hold lots of fond memories of the Ireland kids, and their mother who helped us so much during our Mothers' illness. God Bless you with Peace.

What a nice obituary in the Statesman. as One of the Bane girls (Joanne) I recall lots of good times with the Ireland family. Condolances and our wishes of Peace from Ruth, Blanche Margaret and Joanne. We lost Edith in the 80's. Margaret and I seem very healthy. Ruth has Dementia in a Salem
