My deepest condolences to Harriett and Sherrie Lynn. Uncle C and I had a wonderful tradition celebrating birthday lunches together for 20+ consecutive years through early 2019. I'll always cherish Uncle C's kindness, friendship, humor and love for his family. And of course, his love for a good meal. RIP Uncle C. Love you and will always remember you.

I worked with Calvin in the early 80's at a textile company. He was one of the nicest people I ever worked with .Always had a smile and loved talking about his daughter. My condolences to the family.

I was saddened to hear of Double C's passing. From our working together in the mid 80's I learned and always cherished Calvin's quick ready smile ,laugh and approach to life and our real estate world. We had such great memories of your joining us for our wedding in Baton Rouge. He will be missed as his special way will not brighten the room. He was so special and we never ate at M&A's that he knew almost everyone in the restaurant. He will be missed but the great memories...

I loved Calvin. He was generous and affectionate. A doting uncle, he babysat for me and came to important events in my life. My mother was envious that her brother could eat prodigious amounts and never gain an ounce. That did catch up to him. When I think of Calvin I think of his twinkling eyes and warm hug. My heart goes out to Sherrie and Richard and their family and to Aunt Harriett, his loyal companion of so many years, who gave me the honor of being their flower girl.

Candace and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to Harriet, Sherrie and the entire family. Calvin was truly the sweetest man I have ever known and their home was like my second home for many years. He will be sorely missed by so many whose lives he touched. We are thinking about you during this difficult time.
