Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,

I had just seen Sid at rehab at Westchecter Manor and asked about Carl. I am in therapy for a right leg so can't get around much or drive myself. However, I just want you to know how much I'll miss Carl. He was a Boy Scout to the core and us 'scouters" will deeply miss Carl and his carvings.

Jim Armstrong
former scouter/Eagle scout, Troop 7 High Point

For several years Mr. Carl has been an important part of my life twice a year...at furniture market: a greeting each morning, a chat at lunch daily, first looks at his newest carvings, giving me his "books" to store...and the oh-so-wonderful history lessons and life lessons he imparted each day...with his smile (no matter how he felt), with a bit of humor, and with his gentle guidance. I was blessed to know him, however briefly, and I will miss him.

Scott , please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at the sad time.
May your memories sustain you.
