Not sure what to say?

I recently came across a post pointing out some of the heroes that lost their lives in Iraq. I saw Mr. Carroll's name, and felt the need to look him up. I doubt any family will see this today, but I wanted to offer my condolences. Anyone who lays down their life fighting for their country should never be forgotten.

Karen and Family,

Please accept my condolences for your loss. You have been in my thoughts these past few days hoping you receive the strength and support needed to get through each new tomorrow. I know there are no words that will help you feel better, but know there are many who are feeling a void. Carl touched many lives. From the countless students he trained, to his contemporaries throughout the world. There hasn’t been a day pass where someone hasn’t expressed disbelief...

Justin and Karen we both would like to send our condolences. Carl was a man who was proud of his country and his family. I can remember him as always being happy with you both, and that is how I will remember him. If either of you need us to do anything please dont be afraid to ask. .

Sincere condolences on the loss of your husband and father. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Karen and family,

Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We have very fond memories of Carl, especially those times we had the privilage of serving along side him with the youth group at David's Church. We count it an honor to have known a man who proudly served his country and his Lord.

God Bless,

Karen & Justin & family,
