Not sure what to say?

I remember Carl Coan as a wonderful man and a really contributing Democrat. Thank you, Carl, for your service. Dora K. (Holly) Hayes

I cannot believe it has been seven years since Carl's passing. He left a deep hole in the advocacy work that I am involved with and I miss his energy and passion for housing. I often think "what would Carl say" when confronted with the latest controversy at HUD or on the Hill.

I miss Carl.

Having known CARL when I was a Member and former President of NAHB I can say the he was "one of the good guys." He prepared me well for testimony before Congresional Committees. God bless him.

He will be missed greatly.
Love you and your family, Cousin Betsy and Bill Crawford

Carl was one of the "good" guys All my memories of him are reinforced by his character.
J. S. "Mickey" Norman,
1975 NAHB President.

Even though the Skipper of the "Seven C's" has departed our world for a higher position, he'll still be the Captain in our hearts. Carl touched many lives in very positive ways during his time on earth. Certainly mine, mom's and grandma's was among them. He was always kind, gracious, knowledgable and an all-around...
